Coach Registration

We are recruiting coaches for the following age groups:

BASEBALL

• Babe Ruth: Grades 7, 8, and 9
• Majors: Grades 5 and 6
• AAA: Grades 3 and 4
• AA: Grade 2
• A: Grade 1
• Instructional: age 4 through K

SOFTBALL

• Seniors: Grades 7, 8 and 9
• Juniors: Grades 5 and 6
• Minors: Grades 3 and 4
• Farm: Grades 1 and 2
• Instructional: Prek and K

Spring Training will begin in Jan 2024 with a coaches ONLY clinic and then 7 athlete clinics. Participation is encouraged through not required.

Spring Training sessions will be at Starland on Sunday nights. Please refer to the Spring Training page for further information.

Our Spring 2024 season will begin in April and run through mid to late June.

Summer ball has fewer teams and requires a fair amount of travel. If we have enough interest at the younger ages, we are sometimes able to accommodate an in-town league.

You will be provided one hat and one team shirt for each season.

Dependent on age group you may had as few as one hour a week of practice/scrimmage (Instructional) or up to three games or practices a week (AAA / Minors and older).

As a coach you are required to maintain a Babe Ruth membership which includes a mandatory safety training that is to be completed every two years. Please send proof of completion to the PYBS Registrar.

Please be sure to follow ALL prompts during the Babe Ruth Membership & Safety Training registration process. A national background check will be completed through this system.

Once you have completed the PYBS registration you will be emailed a CORI consent form. This is to be completed and back to our registrar along with a photo of your drivers license.

We will do our best to honor requests for coaching pairs.

Additionally, not everyone can be an assistant coach. We need head coaches, too! We are developing tools to ensure you are successful and have plenty of veteran coaches willing to help you learn!
