2008 DIVISIONS
In order to manage the growth of the league and to continue to provide a fun and
competitive environment for all players, the following changes have been made:
MAJORS: This division will consist of no more than ten teams and a total of
130 players. All eligible 12 year olds will play in the Major’s Division. The
balance of players will be 11 year olds. The number of 11 year old players in
the Major’s Division will depend upon the number of total players in this division.
The 11 year old players at the Major’s Division will be selected based upon
player evaluations.
AAA: This division will consist of as many teams as possible depending
upon player eligibility and ability as determined during player evaluations.
Eligible 11 year olds, 10 year olds and 9 year olds will make up the teams in this
division. After player evaluations, 11 year olds not assigned to the Major’s will
continue in this division. All eligible 10 year olds will play in this division. A
number of eligible 9 year olds will be allowed to attend player evaluations and
will be selected to play in this division based upon the player evaluations.
AA: This division will consist of as many teams as possible depending
upon player eligibility. The majority of 9 year olds will continue in this division.
All eligible 8 year olds will play in this division. Player evaluations will be
conducted to determine ability level. This is a “player pitch” division.
Rookie 7: This division will consist of eligible 7 year olds and/or first grade
eligible players. There are no player evaluations at this level. This is a “coach
pitch” division.
T-Ball: This division will consist of eligible 6 year olds and/or kindergarten
eligible players.
